Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7?

Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) adds 320MHz channels, 4096-QAM, and Multi-RU (puncturing) for up to 46Gbps theoretical throughput. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) maxes out at ~9.6Gbps. Wi-Fi 7 also adds the 6GHz band support.

Do you provide site survey and wireless design services?

Yes, our wireless engineers can perform remote or on-site Wi-Fi site surveys, create heatmaps, and design optimal AP placement for maximum coverage and performance.

Can these APs work with existing network switches?

Yes, all our APs support standard 802.3af/at PoE power from any brand of switch. Wi-Fi 6E/7 APs with higher power needs may require 802.3bt (PoE++) switches.
